Smith's Machine has been family owned and operated since it was established in 1974. Smith's is a Division of HWS Enterprises, which is the family's main corporate structure. The business consists of four active family business members who are Harold, Judy, Tim, and Robert Smith. The company was a part time business until 1988. In 1989, Smith's Machine began full time operations. During 1992, the operating capacity was increased and a second shift was added. In 1994, Smith's Machine completed an expansion that doubled the size of the facility. Again in 1997, the facility doubled its' square footage to its' current size of 24,000 square feet.
Smith's Machine's Secret to Success has been the company's dedication to customer service and quality. These two elements have allowed the company to expand its services to better serve the marketplace.
In 1988, there were three employees, today it employs a variety of skilled workers such as machinists, welders, CNC operators, CNC machinists and CNC programmers. There are quality inspections and engineering departments to better serve our customers.
